Well, I am back- after a brief hiatus!
The last three months were extremely important-for Options!
Keeping in sync with the economic upheavals, Options too-has been going through a restructure, and take stock on how we can add value to our stakeholders- the clients (corporates who use our help), the candidates (who are increasingly weighing the opportunity costs), and collaborators ( the fellow recruiters who are consciously making alliances ).
Information is passe. It is all about insights! No longer are clients seeking people who can merely do the job-the demand is for folks who can grow the role-and move on ..!
Options therefore is working with a handful of clients-with whom we are partnering very closely -for building a talent pipeline of the niche talent in the sector.
Not surprisingly, most of the HOT mandates -are pinging on our ability to be a 'talent architect' and collaborate globally even as companies are increasingly cherry picking -looking for game changers only!
-CFO for a fast growing Services player in the Wellness/Health industry embarking to go Pan India.
-A host of positions for a R&D Centre of a Medical devices MNC- focussed on new product introductions in the Emerging Markets. Openings exist in development, as well as in Reliability Engineering, professionals with embedded software programing. Also looking out for a Procurement lead-and a Six Sigma Black Belt with experience in a NPI.
-Marcom Head for a highly visible infrastructure company-looking for a person with about 15yrs exp -with a recent stint in the reality/infra domain -selling to enterprises.
-COO for a large business conglomerate in the iron making domain.
-Project Managers/Solutions Architects/Functional consultants with exposure to PLM domain-for positions based in Europe.
-Expat Executive Chef for a highly visible global chain in the hospitality business- to be based in Seoul.
-Tech support professional for a Wireless player -to be based in Thailand.
-Analogic IC design professionals in Singapore for designing power management IC designs for portable devices in the wireless domain.
-Director for a MNC -to provide overall technical leadership within a corporate IT Team-that makes the business applications /tools for internal use.
-Roles in Market research for a telecom company-to help in understanding the psyche of the 'sensitive telecom user'-by making incisive plans by mining sharp insights & need gaps in the Circle.
-Roles in Marketing for a telecom service provider to define, manage and execute marketing strategy by having a pulse on the evolving trends in consumer needs/technologies around communication/media and Internet
