The media reports mention about an increased business confidence-based on the Naukri jobspeak index-that compares the number of fresh job postings on their job portal.

Personally, I feel that the best days are yet to come-as we are yet to see the increased thickness of the job supplement pages ie Times Ascent, or The Hindu Opportunities-where the companies have to invest large amounts to advertise!

Or is it that some of these jobs have found their way to the latest flavour of all the employers..a social networking site presumably most used for seeking jobs -Linkedin!! As I articulate this blog post there are close to 400 paid job postings..with Microsoft alone hogging 40% of them, and Google coming in second with a fourth! I am positive a lot of hiring or atleast referrals are happening offline..(without the use of paid job listings)!
