The media reports mention about an increased business confidence-based on the Naukri jobspeak index-that compares the number of fresh job postings on their job portal.

Personally, I feel that the best days are yet to come-as we are yet to see the increased thickness of the job supplement pages ie Times Ascent, or The Hindu Opportunities-where the companies have to invest large amounts to advertise!

Or is it that some of these jobs have found their way to the latest flavour of all the employers..a social networking site presumably most used for seeking jobs -Linkedin!! As I articulate this blog post there are close to 400 paid job postings..with Microsoft alone hogging 40% of them, and Google coming in second with a fourth! I am positive a lot of hiring or atleast referrals are happening offline..(without the use of paid job listings)!

We at Options, have been receiving mandates from some of our old clients, (who had held back hiring last year), a sudden spurt of startups wanting to ramp up, while still a lot of MNCs wanting to enter India -and be part of the growth story. What is amazing is-perhaps the range of the jobs-and the degree of complexities being thrown in. The skillsets required today, are distinctly different from those desired even last year.

Opportunities exist for professionals with experience in different Modules.

The postings are based across the East Coast of USA.

Should you be aware of professionals with experience in SAP consulting, we are looking for experts :

- Implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications on SAP
- Good working knowledge in integration to allow for the creation of documents
- Good working knowledge of Unit Testing
- 8 years experience in SAP Modules with at least 5 to 6 Full Life Cycle implementations

One of my Client at New York, USA- looking for Principal Consultants with atleast 5 Full Life Cycle Implementation of SAP FICO Modules. We are looking for a professional with experience to:

- Knowledge and experience in all aspects of accounting and finance within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment; including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing, Management Reporting.
- Implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications in the FICO modules and deliverables on SAP
- Support and maintenance involving Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting and Controlling
- Good working knowledge in integration to allow for the creation of financial documents
- Good working knowledge of Unit Testing
- 8 years experience in SAP FI and CO Modules with at least 5 to 6 Full Life Cycle implementations
