One of our clients is embarking on a major drive -that would see the setting up of power plants having a cumulative capacity of 10,000 MW by 2015 in different parts of the country at an approximate outlay of Rs 40,000 crore.
Apart from power generation, the company proposed to be be involved in all aspects of the energy cycle and shall seek opportunities for developing and acquiring transmission and distribution assets
Promoted by a group of HNIs based in India and the US, the group intends to prospect and develop projects, through formation of project specific special purpose vehicles (SPVs), to handle the entire gamut of 'concept to commissioning' engineering and project management.
We are on the lookout for senior management professionals from the power, infrastructure, energy, petrochemical industries, who would be keen to spearhead the operations of each of the business units and SPVs -and handle leadership positions.

I am presently working on an assignment for an international company in the Animal Nutrition business, with over 100 production and processing plants, across 25 countries and employing a fabout ten thousand employees. The company has a good presence across some stages in the food chain.
Looking to set up Indian operations, we are looking at a senior professional to spearhead the India strategy and operations-right from handling production to develop the market for their products in the premixes, feed ingredients and specialty products of the group.
The key expectations of the person would be
· To evaluate the companies product portfolio and to establish a strong focus on core activities.
· To establish and/or develop a strong distribution network and maintain good and functional relations with sister companies, distributors, agents, manufacturers, customers and suppliers, in order to support the growth of the company and sales.

· To develop and maintain good business co-operation with other group operations in order to benefit optimum synergy effects.

It was quite some time i had posted some requirments (due to busy deadlines in Validating people for some requirements), presently i came up with some new positions that are very critical. My client into retailing is looking for a Legal Manager with LLB/ LLM qualification, expertise in the following areas:

- Preparation, negotiation and review of legal agreements: This covers a wide variety of different legal agreements.

- Scrutiny and verification of documents for purchase/acquisition of new premises

- Drafting various types of Property Deeds

- Provide strategic legal advice and act proactively as required to minimize legal risks faced by the company

- Represent the company at briefings in legal matters

- Liaison with various government & statutory authorities

- Assist in all secretarial work of the organization

- Person with 7 - 10 years of corporate experience especially in REAL ESTATE would be an added advantage

Here is an exciting role!

One of my clients, a leading player in the EDA domain, is looking for a senior software architect for their Hyderabad office.

The person would be responsible for driving the technical strategy and guide team in meeting the strategic objectives.
- Design complex systems at the component level, makes strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components
- Coaches, mentors, and delegates to engineers to facilitate their development

The ideal person would have had atleast 10yrs experience in either EDA or Mechanical CAD product development and

- Product Architecture & Design using advanced OO Methodology, UML
- Expert in application & implementation of design patterns
- Multi-tier product architecture & design
